Sino nga kaya ang Senador na sinasabing gumagamit ng Cocaine? Sen. Trillanes on Davao City VM Paolo Duterte's claim that a senator is using cocaine: "I wouldn't know. Ako, I'm sure I'm not that senator." Paulo Duterte has been accused by Rossana Roces before of being a drug lord on Facebook (since deleted). To which, Vice Mayor Pulong Duterte addressed in a FB post on December 1, 2015:
Meanwhile, Trillanes, when asked if the burden of proof lies with the Davao City vice mayor, he said:
"Oo naman, kasi peperwisyuhin pa 'yung 23 (senators) na hindi naman adik—assuming that (Duterte's claim) is true—kasi i-clear pa naman lahat... It doesn't work that way."
Trillanes said he has no information if any of his colleagues is indeed using cocaine.
"I wouldn't know. Basta't ako, I'm sure I'm not that senator," he told reporters.
Asked if a drug test will help clear the issue, Trillanes replied: "Puwede naman 'yun pero 'yung ganiyan kasi voluntary in nature. And sa akin, dito dapat same standard, sabay-sabay. Saka lahat."
Trillanes says Paolo Duterte should name the senator tagged to be using cocaine: If you're sure about this information, sabihin mo. "Ang sa akin, i-name na lang ... 'Wag na tayong mag-blind item. If you're sure about the information, sabihin mo."
Davao City Vice Mayor and Presidential Son Paulo Duterte, claimed that an unnamed senator uses cocaine.
"Kung ako makakuha ng ebidensya sa inyo, I'll see to it na kung ako ang makakaakusa sa inyo, merong isang senador diyan na gumagamit ng cocaine," Duterte said.
"Kung makakuha ako ng ebidensiya, ilalabas ko talaga," he added.
Cocaine is a powerfully addictive stimulant drug that is generally used by wealthy patrons while shabu is also known as poor man's cocaine.
