Senator Leila De Lima ‘Love Affair’ with Driver Ronnie Dayan Exposed
President Rodrigo Duterte exposed Senator Leila De Lima's ‘Love Affair’ with her driver Ronnie Dayan. Duterte denounced De Lima for having an affair with her married driver, who, the President claimed, collected money from illegal drug traders.
“Here is an immoral woman flaunting … insofar as the wife of the driver is concerned, it’s adultery. Here is a woman who funded the house of her lover, and yet, we do not say any complaint about it,” the President said in a speech at the 115th anniversary of the Philippine National Police in Camp Crame.
De Lima was at first not named, but later at the Manila airport, the President revealed that he was referring to the lady senator.
The name of De Lima's driver Ronnie Palisoc Dayan came from the expose' made by losing 2016 elections senatorial candidate Sandra Cam in 2014 then President of the Whistleblowers Association of the Philippines, when she tried to block de Lima’s appointment as Justice secretary under the Aquino administration.
Sandra Cam then, claimed De Lima had an intimate relationship with her driver, Ronnie Dayan who is married to Norly Magallanes, who in turn was given a house in Nanapla, Negros Occidental to keep quiet about the alleged affair.
Sandra Cam also showed pictures of a farm in Barangay Galarin, Urbiztondo, Pangasinan which she claimed was given by De Lima to Dayan.
Sandra Cam also claimed that De Lima and Dayan has a private s*x video.
Ms. Cam then claimed that Dayan was an employee of the Justice department who acted as “fixer” and influenced the promotion of prosecutors and other officials as well as agents of the National Bureau of Investigation.
Ronnie Dayan came in legal trouble in 2014 for allegedly punching a police officer Ariel Hardinoza of the Alcala police station and threatening to kill a Barangay Tanod Budoy Palisoc. Dayan also allegedly fired his gun indiscriminately during the incident in Barangay Dalaguiring, Urbiztondo, Pangasinan.
Sandra Cam also claimed De Lima had an affair with Cesar Mancao.
In 2012, De Lima's bodyguard, 32-year-old Alister Quintos, was killed by unknown assailants with investigators left baffled by what they said they found on the victim's body: “bizarre” bite marks on the victim’s right cheek and left arm.
They pointed out that while an apparent scuffle could explain the bite mark on Quintos’ left arm, it was difficult to determine why there were teeth impressions on his right cheek. “The teeth impressions were those of the upper set,” an NBI official said.
