Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte remained ahead of the pack in the latest presidential preference poll conducted by the Social Weather Stations (SWS) from May 1 to 3, or about a week before the May 9 elections.
Duterte posted a rating of 33 percent or eleven percentage points ahead of closest rival Sen. Grace Poe with 22 percent, a two-point drop from the previous survey.
She is in a statistical tie with former Interior Secretary Mar Roxas, who improved by a single point to 20 percent.
Vice President Jejomar Binay, meanwhile, remained fourth at 13 percent, one point lower than his previous result.
Four percent were undecided.
Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago remained last at 2 percent.
The poll surveyed 4,500 registered voters, with sampling error margins of ±1 point.
