John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo movie to be boycotted by Bea Alonzo fans

Fans of the loveteam of Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz plans to boycott the movie of Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz entitled, A Very Special Love. But in an interview, Bea Alonzo promised to support the movie.

The last time that Sarah Geronimo appeared in a movie was in the action-fantasy movie “Lastikman” with Mark Bautista which didn't really do well in the box office. So A Very Special Love is Sarah's biggest break to date and a sort of a comeback movie for her too.

Sarah and John Lloyd’s teamup would have been realized in the planned remake of the Sharon-Gabby blockbuster, “Dear Heart,” but it was shelved until “A Very Special Love” was conceived. The movie is a romantic comedy and is the second time John Lloyd and Sarah are playing with a love interest angle, but their first was in an episode of Maalala Mo Kaya only.

In the movie, John Lloyd Cruz plays a magazine publisher, while Sarah plays a fresh graduate who loves her job and enjoys going to work because of her crush with her boss John Lloyd.

The movie is in its finishing stage and will be shown shortly. The loveteam of Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz, each of them actually but based on a movie starred by them, were the Box Office King and Queen of 2007 in the 38th Box Office Entertainment Awards by the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Inc.
