Amira Gold Janairo Yesterday at 3:41am · Let me use the social media to make a stand. The guy in the picture is my eldest brother. His name is Joven "benjie" Janairo. He is a member of the special task forcefor anti-kidnapping as far as I remember. We are orphans. We are raised by our loving aunts and uncles who treated Us as their own child. They gave us everything we need and wants. Our parents got massacred in 1988, a year after I was born. Me and my 2 sisters and my other brother where at the place of horrifying casualty. One of my sisters got killed together with our mother. My other sister was shot but managed to live until now and the bullet is still inside her body which doctors couldn't trace anymore. My brother was hidden in the cabinet while they cover me with pillows so that killers won't hear me cry. I never did cry that night. They burned the body of my father after they kill him. They burn down our house too, to make sure that no one could escape death. You may ask why. It is Because of land and power. My father is public servant. A politician, while my mother is a public teacher in the island. Why Am I telling you this..? I am not asking for sympathy or anything. Though we grew up without parents. We are raised very well. My brother took criminology so that he could avenge the death of our father and that he could protect us and help bring justice to the oppressed. But while he was studying. He was taught that revenge will not bring any good to him neither to us. He learned to forgive people who done him wrong, though anger still grows in his and our hearts. But as we grow old we learn to forgive but never forget what it taught us. We are taught to forgive and never hold any grudge to others no matter what. We were taught to work hard and never depend on anyone. We were taught to help others as much as we could and never ask anything in return. My brother couldn't hear well because his eardrums were shattered from the gunfires when President Erap sent policemen to Mindanao to fight the MILF. He put his life at risk to save another persons life, which he barely knew. He leave his family at home to help maintain peace for our country. I grew up away from my brothers and sisters. I never knew what my father and mother's face was. But they say that our father looks like my eldest brother. I never did hate the people who killed my family. Instead I want to thank them. Because me and my siblings will never be the person we are right now if it never happened. The point is, before you judge and accused someone and give allegiations. Would it be better if we investigate first. Gather all the facts and evidence. Let us make sure that this won't backfire to us. Let us think of the family we are trying to destroy and those innocent children we are hurting whose father is being accused of. Our family do not tolerate any wrong doings. If we are wrong. We are wrong. If we are right, we stand and fight. If my brother is involved with this de lima issue. We, his family will surrender him to the president and the republic of the Philippines. and we will stand as witnesses for the sake of the many. We are not rich. Whatever we have right now. We worked hard for it. I am known as a bratt to many. Yes I am. My sisters and brothers did their best to give me everything they never had. And I take most of it for granted. And I am sorry. I pretend to be strong but deep inside I cry like a baby. Most of the time I wonder what life would be if our parents were here. To the author of the original article Mr. Egco. Think before you write is the same as think before you speak. What you did is a public scandal and humiliation which will cause trauma to our family specially to his children. We live in a world full of hate. Where money is a god. Can we focus on how we can make our country a better place to live rather than making wrong accusations like this. Philippines, is this the change we want? We dont have millions in our bank. But we have enough to experience what life has to offer. We dont have 2 mansions but we have a house we call home.
PO2 Joven Janairo Jr. faces a complaint for poking his gun at a motorcycle rider in Kamuning, Quezon City yesterday. BOY SANTOS MANILA, Philippines - A policeman was arrested for allegedly poking his gun at a motorist during a traffic altercation in Quezon City yesterday. Police Officer 2 Joven Janairo Jr., of the Anti-Kidnapping Group in Camp Crame, allegedly poked his gun at a motorcycle rider at the EDSA Kamuning flyover in Barangay Kamuning, said Quezon City Police District director Senior Superintendent Richard Albano. Janairo is facing a complaint for violation of the Omnibus Election Code. He was in civilian clothes when the incident happened. The motorist said the policeman got irked after their motorcycles sideswiped each other while traversing the flyover at 8 a.m. Janairo then drew his service firearm – a 9mm Pietro Beretta – and pointed it at the victim, according to QCPD deputy director for administration Senior Superintendent Joel Pagdilao. The suspect was arrested by officers from the QCPD Station 10 under Superintendent Marcelino Pedrozo. Meanwhile, QCPD-Station 4 commander Superintendent Crisostomo Mendoza said security guard Teddy Quartero, a resident of Novaliches, also in Quezon City, was nabbed for violation of the gun ban. Quartero’s arrest stemmed from the complaint of his fellow guard Baltazar Fortaleza.
