"Iyong sa akin ay puwede naman na nag-disagree tayo on issues pero sa diskusyon whether nag-a-agree tayo o disagree kailangan pakinggan natin ang bawat isa, kailangan kahit iba sa paniniwala natin, magrespetuhan."

Robredo echoed the sentiments of a teary-eyed De Lima who branded Duterte's remarks as "very foul" and a form of "character assassination."
The Liberal Party, to which Leni Robredo and Sen. Leila De Lima belongs, also issued a harsh statement against the remarks made by Duterte.
Robredo made the remark in a chance interview with reporters in Naga City, where she is attending activities in commemoration of the fourth death anniversary of her husband, Jesse Robredo.
