AJ Perez was discovered while strolling in a mall in Makati. Like other aspiring commercial models, he underwent several VTRs before landing his first commercial stint with Globe. From there, he was cast in the UFC commercial. However, it was his Milo TV Commercial that showcased his basketball skills which eventually captured the attention of ABS-CBN. He attended self-enhancement workshops with Talent Center and was launched as a member of Star Magic Batch 13. His proud parents are from Bicol(mother) and Bacolod(father). Currently, he is an active Basketball Varsity Player in La Salle Greenhills.
AJ Perez has appeared in the film, Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo with Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo. He can be seen regularly in Star Magic Presents: "Abt Ur Luv".
