The Bacoor City court sentenced Archie Alemania to an “indeterminate penalty” of one (1) month and one (1) day of arresto mayor as minimum to one (1) year and one (1) day of prision correctional as maximum penalty.
The court also ordered Alemania to pay Rita Daniela ₱20,000 in civil indemnity and ₱20,000 in moral damages.
Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque, lawyer of Rita Daniela, expressed elation at the decision: “Of course, we are very happy with the decision. Rita fought and she attained justice.” Ctto.
