Willie Revillame was named and voted upon as the most powerful entertainer in the Philippines by Yes magazine in its annual poll of the 50 Most Powerful in Showbiz for 2008. The magazine listed down the movers and shakers of the local entertainment scene over the past 15 months and ranks them according to "industry players who took an active role in shaping the landscape of entertainment." Willie Revillame propelled YES!, in which he was the cover on its January 2009 issue,to publishing milestone by selling an enormous amount of copies unheard of in the local glossy magazine market. Willie Revillame thanked his fans for supporting him. Yes Magazine declared that per reliable reports, Willie Revillame earns more or less a cool 1 million pesos everyday.
